My skin care routine has always only consisted of the necessities - a good face wash and moisturiser. Ever since realising that my skin reacts to anything that doesn't allow it to breathe I've avoided anything 'moisture' heavy and always went for the lighter density creams.
For the past 30 days, I've been testing out the Lancome Advanced Génifique Sensitive Serum. This serum is designed to help restore and protect your skin through a boost of pure anti-oxidants contained in the serum.
In order to feel the full effects of the serum, it is recommended to be used at night for at least 28 days. To even further the serum's power, a combination of the Advanced Génifique Sensitive at night and the Advanced Génifique in the mornings was recommended.
I'm going to be honest here, during my first week, the Advanced Génifique Sensitive was amazing and left my skin feeling hydrated and smooth in the mornings. The Advanced Génifique left my face with a few bumps by the end of the day. I thought that this was just my skin adjusting so I continued for about two weeks. With my skin continually being bumpy I stopped using the Advanced Génifique serum and continued with the Sensitive serum. That was when my skin started to clear up and become more hydrated.
I've heard fantastic things from others about the Lancome Advanced Génifique serums, even though the combination of the two didn't initially work out, I'm so happy with the effects of the Sensitive serum and am still using it.
