MY EVERYDAY MAKE UP ROUTINE

IMG_1902.JPG

I've never really been too involved with beauty, and usually just did the bare minimum - foundation, eyeliner = done / thank you mumma for the good skin. But lately the make up craze has been catching up to me from being surrounded by SO many products through social media, blogging and I guess the need for make up (aka to look appropriate) at work. So here's just a little something on how what my favourite products are at the moment for everyday wear... No doubt there will probably be more similar posts in the future.

After cleansing, I apply the Grown Alchemist Hydra-Repair Eye Balm as I'm squinting and staring at a computer screen for 40 hours a week. I then apply the Aesop Camellia Nut Facial Hydrating Cream to the rest of my face - I love this moisturiser as it's super light but keeps you hydrated all day.

Next it's time to prime. I use the Make Up Forever Hydrating Primer - you really don't need much with this one as it goes a long way.

I've recently changed up to the Nars Luminous Powder just because I'd been using Mac for a number of years and wanted to mix things up. I could not recommend this foundation anymore, it lasts all day and still leaves you with very natural coverage.

Next I apply a bronzer to my cheeks, I use a Natio one as it's mineral based and doesn't make my skin flare up. I then finish off my face with a finishing powder, I really like the Nude By Nature one.

Eyebrow time. I'm currently using a brow pencil from Mac Cosmetics, it's on the chalky side and gives a natural look. To accentuate this even more, I also add on some brow mascara.

I still like to look natural at work, so I normally pop on some eyeliner (I use the Unrestricted Shine Eyeliner Stylo by Nars) and mascara (Lash Domination by Bare Minerals) to finish off everything.

Home time! I love coming back, getting changed into the baggiest shirt and taking all my make up off. I just feel so refreshed afterwards. My favourite make up remover has to be this one by Mecca Cosmetica, it's nice and gentle and doesn't leave my face feeling dry afterwards.
