MAKE UP BAG ESSENTIALS WITH CLINIQUE

I am someone who's always on the go and 110% busy juggling full time work, blog work and trying to get some me time where I can. I am also someone who likes to be prepared for any situation - make up mishap, too much of a mess post lunch-time gym session, some stress induced tears... just kidding about that one. But seriously, this Clinique minis kit has me covered. WEEKENDS W/ TOBI

Wearing: Tobi top - Glassons skirt - Forever New mules

Brunch time with this flared sleeve top, denim A-line skirt (you seriously can't go wrong with these) and mules, yes, my latest obsession.

Wearing: Tobi top - Sir The Label shorts - Topshop shoes - Ray Ban sunglasses

Going from day to night with this Tobi top, paired with some shorts for comfort purposes and mules (same same but different) to add some height without the pain of heels at the end of the night.

Wearing: Tobi playsuit - Forever New mules

Top off that lazy Sunday morning with a playsuit of sorts and, of course, some mules.

THE SHIRT DRESS WITH A TWIST

Wearing: Shona Joy dress - Forever New mules - Ray Ban sunglasses

I've mentioned this a few times already but one of the key qualities of a piece to me is its flexibility in wear. Although you can't altar the look as much compared to that of a top or jean, this Shona Joy piece can take you from parties, to day time brunches and even to work - depending on how casual your office is. The flared hemline is definitely my favourite element of this piece - I even have a long-sleeved version of this.

Last week I wore this piece to a bridal shower paired with these Forever New mules for a slightly less casual look (side note: how comfy are mules?). This piece will definitely making an appearance at work this week.
